Plot Summary
Ji-woong (Song Joong-ki) is a loser who can't find a job, so he lies to his mother for money. But one day, she abruptly cuts him off and he becomes homeless. That same day, salvation arrives in the form of Hong-sil (Han Ye-seul), who's extremely stingy. Her hobby is visiting the bank to make savings deposits, and her specialty is selling empty glass bottles and old newspapers for cash.
Hong-sil, who worships money like her life, stealthily makes Ji-woong homeless by taking over his apartment. Then she is touched by his optimism and promises him to help him save up a large sum of money. Being in the dark, Ji-woong is grateful to her and begins to follow her instructions obediently. However, his wasteful habits always annoy Hong-sil.
Hong-sil also has her own dreams. She gives her money to the man of her heart (Lee Sang-yeob), and expects to become the perfect match for him. Unexpectedly, the man disappears with the money, which becomes a hard hit for Hong-sil. Meanwhile, Ji-woong learns how he became homeless, so will he forgive Hong-sil? And will they realize that they have more in common than they thought?
